Knutsen Harp Ukulele

This instrument has a very intriguing label by Ernest Kaai of Honolulu, indicating that Knutsen had a distribution arrangement in Hawaii!
According to Jim Beloff's The Ukulele, Ernest Kaai was "Hawaii's greatest ukulele player", but also "a songwriter, arranger, singer, concert promoter, music teacher, and all-around impresario."
Chuck Fayne, uke expert, and the instrument's previous owner states, "the only label of his I have ever seen other than on the ukes he sold as his. I'm pretty sure he didn't make ukes, just distributed them in his name."
Somewhere else I learned that he distributed his ukes from 1915 to 1930, which makes this instrument pretty hard to date.
This particular harp uke has the most adorably delicate little harp arm.
