Knutsen Harp Ukulele

This is a gorgeous harp uke. It sold on eBay early in 2004 well under value, because the unfortunate seller simply could not provide decent photos or description. So we all let it go - except for the lucky owner who definitely got a prize. It turned out to be nearly immaculate, and the first Knutsen uke found with three-color rope binding - top, soundhole, neck and headstock - a very fancy instrument! Of the very unusual koa (is it really pink? or blonde?!), the new owner says, "the koa is a beautiful golden yellow and very curly with the sweetest little lacquer cracks throughout. The neck looks like it has been stained cherry, but has the sheen of koa beneath. There is no separate fingerboard (there never is on Knutsen's ukes - GM)."
