…and the timing is amazing. I was literally just about to post Franco’s new chapter in our growing Taraffo archive when my email inbox offered up a note from Stephen Bennett, forwarded from one of his fans. It referred to today’s Washington Post, which ran a short story on a new exhibit on Immigration – and the thumbnail image they used was this one of Taraffo!
This bulletin is already up on our new open-ended chapter called “New Entries” (Italian version here), prompted when Franco’s friend Enrico De Filippi (who you should remember from my Italy adventures) uncovered new clippings of previously unknown Taraffo performances, which they now share with you. Franco and Enrico live for this stuff…but it’s an important resource for all of us, and I’m glad the legacy of their passion will continue to grow and live on Harpguitars.net!
